Bangkok, the capital and largest city of Thailand, is a vibrant, densely populated metropolis known for its fusion of traditional culture and modern life, it features glittering temples like Wat Arun, bustling markets, and modern luxury shopping, often called the “City of Angels”. Bangkok is one of the world’s top tourist destinations. For major tourist attractions in Bangkok, most of them are historical sites or religious sites, most notably Wat Phra Kaew (Emerald Buddha), Wat Arun (Temple of the Dawn), and Wat Pho (Reclining Buddha). The modern and traditional sensibilities so intrinsic to Thai culture are crammed together in one space; a silhouette of city skyscrapers overlooking ancient temples. Bangkok has a wealth of culture to explore.
