Testimonials
I must say with immense gratitude and a heart-full of elation to what has been an unforgettable trip in my life. I have been fortunate to participate in a Global Immersion Program in an esteemed university in Australia and get micro-credentials too. I thank my own home institution and Mr Immanuel of GIX whose belief in global education & cultural experiences makes this an excellent opportunity for students.
The program objectives and engagement plan that was communicated in the brochure was well delivered by GIX. Be it classroom sessions, the cultural tours, the industry visit & the overall trip to Dubai was very good.
Very insightful for my entrepreneurial aspirations, Overall; enhanced my knowledge & skills in the subject area and significantly impactful in my professional development. Overall I will rate this Global Immersion program as ‘excellent’.
I sincerely thank GIX for organising this program as it has been a great learning experience and more than anything it has actually sparked this desire in me to make Singapore the destination to pursue my Masters, which I am currently enjoying.
This trip to Singapore was a fascinating experience for me. From communication to leadership, traditional database to AI database, waste management to recycled water was an absolutely essential thought but the practical aspect is truly amazing. Thank you for giving us this great opportunity.
I am sincerely grateful for the opportunity to engage in this transformative program. Over the course of this program, we delved into a diverse array of topics, ranging from the fundamental principles of flight to the intricacies of robotics, which allowed us to gain an in-depth understanding of the dynamic fields shaping the world of technology today.
Overall, the Global Immersion Program provided an immersive learning experience in Aeronautics and Flight principles, Aircraft Anatomy and Design, Flight Mechanics, Avionics, Robotics, and hands-on laboratory sessions on Robotics, Sensors, Computational Design, Manufacturing, and Wind Tunnel experiments. Participants gained comprehensive knowledge of aircraft technologies, flight dynamics, and cutting-edge research in the field, enhancing their understanding of aviation and engineering principles through practical applications and real-world experiments.
This program gave us a taste of Singaporean culture and traditions. Traveling to the university by public bus, having our food in the local restaurants and communicating with the public to know about the city boosted our confidence to survive in a foreign country. Once we reached the university, we were divided into teams and given a research project. To aid our research and to know the technological advancement of their country, we were taken to several places like the New-water visitor centre, Air force museum, Marina Barrage desalination plant, and The Singapore Science Center. The visits were valuable as we came to know about the existing technological solutions to modern problems. This stretched our ability to think beyond various boundaries and motivated us to implement these technologies in our country.
We were given lectures about various futuristic technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, and the importance of Data analysis. All these lectures were followed by a hands-on session, where we were given a problem statement and are asked to come out with solutions.
The program was shaped in a way that, apart from the academic part, it taught us various useful life skills such as communication, presentation, teamwork, problem-solving, and critical thinking. On the whole, it was a valuable experience and a great learning phase in a foreign environment. Programs like this will definitely enhance the thinking of students and benefit them in big time.
